popculturebrain: Yates is working with BBC VP Jane Tranter and has said they are going to take a few years to develop the feature. It will not expand upon the current TV series, rather take a fresh approach to it. (Editor’s note: perhaps like JJ Abram’s Star Trek?) The search is currently on for writers, so neither Davies nor Moffat are involved. Displeased by this.
